Poem: Grief’s Consolation

How much more room do you need,
in a house
that does not exist?

When that illusion is clear
and the walls fluctuate
and disappear
you will need a way
to stay
WARM.

Echoes of light
drive towards your heart
from the ceiling
that isn’t really there
just so you will look up,
for the stars have grown lonely
without your gaze.

Cut off all your hair.
God is the mirror who does not care
what locks
you down.

Throw it into the fire
of grief’s consolation.
